Jerome M. Thier, Founder and Managing Partner, has been involved since 1992 in the sale, merger, acquisition, and valuation of companies in a wide range of industries including retail, consumer products, manufacturing, finance, distribution, leisure, and B to B service industries. His broad experience has given him both the analytical skills and balanced viewpoint to represent companies fairly to both Buyers and Sellers.
He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Business Brokers Association, a member of the International Business Brokers Association and was admitted to the Institute of Business Appraisers in 1997. He has lectured extensively at universities and national trade shows on Entrepreneurship.
Jerry came to his current role following a long career as an entrepreneur and business executive, founding and serving as CEO for companies in the medical products and food manufacturing industries.
In the medical products industry, Jerry was CEO and majority shareholder of Neurological Research, a manufacturer which grew from regional to national distribution of products utilized for pressure sore prevention in hospitals and nursing homes.
As a CEO in the food manufacturing industry, he developed companies producing baked goods, jellies, preserves, syrups, and relishes.
Additionally, Jerry has been a Professional Certified Snow Ski Instructor for over 30 years. He is married, the father of three adult children, and grandfather of five.
Jerry is a graduate of Brown University and the American Management Association. In his early career, he was Market Research Manager for a Fortune 500 company in the consumer products and chemical industries.
